A throwback to 2015 – I had created these 2 images back then using smoke over an arrangement of an abstract pattern, working the impressions intuitively without use of reference images. The outcome are ethereal, very similar to a photogram. My mind has been going back to these 2 works, and hopefully there would be some new creations very soon.

Great vibes and turn-out at tonight’s opening event! Our first time up in Perth Hills, and we are really impressed by the very vibrant community, and their relaxed sense of humour. The standard of the entries was mind-blowing, saw a lot more WA’s art talents. Got to meet a member of parliament, and an established artist (whom I follow on Instagram) in person. Wished I could have had more time to go up to more artists. The best encounter today was meeting an art lover who connects with my entry (yay!) – we learnt that Hyde Park brings back the memory of a special moment that he shares with his wife 😊. Couldn’t ask for a better way to wrap up evening!
